The following Active Constituents may be used: MCPA Sulfometuron Methyl > Glyphosate Dicamba Triclopyr Picloram > Metsulfuron-methyl > Bromacil Glufosinate > Carfentrazone ethyl The above chemicals may be used to control: Khaki Weed, Silverleaf Nightshade, Bathurst Burr, Caltrop, Johnson Grass, Bridal Creeper, St John's Wort, Spiny Burr Grass, Prickly Pear and other general weeds and road side vegetation A copy of Council's Pesticide Use Notification Plan is available at Council's main office. 2025/26 THIRD TRIMESTER WATER NOTICES ARRIVING SOON Due Friday, 26 June 2026 Third trimester water notices for the 2025/26 financial year have been issued and should be arriving soon. If you haven't received your water notice in the next couple of weeks, please phone Council on (02) 6953 0911 or email council@leeton.nsw. gov.au. Please ensure to advise Council of your current details, especially if you have recently changed your postal address. PAY Payments may be made on the Internet (www.leeton.nsw.gov.au) by credit card by clicking on the option to pay online B-Pay is also available (Biller Code No. 303321) Payment can also be made in person at Council's offices between the hours of 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, or at any Australia Post outlet by presenting your bill SENIOR CITIZENS MORNING TEA Friday, 29 May 2026 at 9.00am | CWA Hall The next Leeton Seniors Morning Tea will be held on 29 May 2026 at the CWA Hall in the Leeton MPC with guest speaker Isabel Baker (author of A to Z of Dementia Care). POWERLINE MAINTENANCE WORKS ON CHERRY AVENUE Saturday, 23 May 2026 Notice is hereby given under Roads Act 1993 for disruptions to traffic and temporary road closures due to powerline maintenance works. ::: Location: Cherry Avenue (near Jacaranda Avenue) Duration: Saturday 23 May 2026, 8am to 4pm Detours: Detours will be clearly sign posted via Jacaranda Avenue and Park Avenue. Local traffic resident access will be available. Reason: Specialized Electrical are conducting electrical pole replacements in this area. Council apologises for any inconvenience and appreciates your cooperation.
