Applications for funding assistance were received and considered by Council's Heritage Advisor Noel Thomson in conjunction with the Leeton Shire Council Heritage Committee. The 3 applications approved by Council were: Erection of safety fence around chimney at Yanco Powerhouse Museum ($1,300); External timber repair works at gable end and repainting of the north façade to the historic "Hydro Hotel" ($5,000); Replacement of flooring at the basement of the Leeton Museum and Art Gallery (LMAG) to help the Leeton Family & Local History Society preserve Leeton's historic documents by addressing pest/vermin infestation threat ($4,000).
