The Light Up Leeton festivities kick off with the Christmas Carnival and Concert in Mountford Park. The evening will commence at 4:00pm with the Rotary Ham raffle. While trying to win a ham you can explore the various stalls and enjoy the entertainment. The large variety of stalls will cater for the whole family with face painting, sample bags, merry-go-round and Lion's Train. At 6pm Santa and his friends arrive, signalling the start of the Community Concert. As soon as it is dark, local bus drivers will again donate their time and buses to take everyone on a tour to see the Christmas lights. Be sure to bring your rugs and chairs and enjoy a picnic tea. There will be plenty to eat and drink including sausages and steaks, hot chips, tea and coffee, soft drinks, cupcakes, icecreams and much, much more!! All stalls at the carnival are operated by local community groups and service clubs so all money goes straight back into the community.Last print ad
