LEETON PUBLIC YEAR IN REVIEW 2022 As we come closer to the end of the school year, we'd like to extend our thanks to you, our parent community, and students, for demonstrating so much of the spirit of our school's core values of being Respectful, Responsible and Resilient. We have strived together to get the best outcomes for our students and you have stayed by our side the entire time. We're especially proud of the way our community and students have managed to return to normal school operations after the challenges and disruption over the past two years. It was fantastic to see the return of landmark occasions such as many sporting representation opportunities, School Spectacular, Dance Groups, Festival of Choral Music, Riverina Dance Festival, KROP, Debating. Assembly Showcases, Presentation Day, Year 6 Graduation and the traditional ringing of the bell on the last day. We also held a Year 6 Farewell Dinner at the Leeton Soldiers Club which was a great event and well supported. To our Year Six students, moving on to High School evokes different feelings and emotions for students: excitement in anticipation of beginning a new phase of life; sadness in leaving a place that has nurtured you for 7 years; trepidation in contemplating what lies ahead; and joy and satisfaction for what has been achieved. Regardless of how they are feeling, they have all been influenced by your time at Leeton Public School and the person they are today is, to a significant degree, the result of their interactions with the students and staff of Leeton Public School and the experiences they have shared. We wish all our year 6 students the very best with this next exciting phase of your life. Look back with fondness at the time you have spent here at Leeton Public School and know that you will always be welcome. But look out, and beyond. and do not limit yourself.
