Gogeldrie Weir is a major irrigation structure located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River and is the principal water diversion point for the Coleambally irrigation area, as well as providing supplementary supplies of water to the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Areas. Completed in 1959, it is vital and unique structure within the Leeton Shire. Gogeldrie Weir Holiday Park is an ideal location for camping, caravanning or a picnic if you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay. On 17 acres adjacent to the Murrumbidgee River and in a natural bush setting, the caravan park is perfect for water sports and outdoor recreational activities, including kayaking, fishing, boating, water skiing, bush walking, bird watching, photography, cycling and sports training. Our cabins are clean and comfortable and offer guests a private ensuite, microwave oven, TV and reverse cycle a/c, tea/coffee making facilities and free WiFi. Gogeldrie Weir Holiday Park has fantastic barbecue facilities, toilets, showers and a kiosk offering basic items, including icecreams, drinks, snack food and bags of ice. Many services are available including: fishing licences, bait and EFTPOS facilities. Kayak and push bike hire available. A sealed road all the way makes it accessible in all weather conditions. A function shed is available for hire for weddings, christenings, family reunions, birthday parties and for schools, community and sporting groups. The function shed contains a small kitchen, tables, chairs, fire place and a recreation area.
